Mr. Bernstein is familiar with the issues confronting parents with incapacitated children or the issues of disabled adults, both on a personal basis and from his experience in the area of Special Needs Planning.

He has established a reputation for creating Trusts which will protect the governmental benefits to which the special needs child/adult is entitled while at the same time providing a fund which will enhance the quality of the child/adult’s life.

 

He has been instrumental in setting up Trusts in some well publicized cases in order to protect the assets of a special needs child. He is known for his care and concern in dealing with both the parents and the special needs child/adult and for understanding the issues and problems and anxieties which they face when guiding them through this difficult process.
