Mr. Bernstein is thoroughly familiar with these issues and with the work which is necessary to protect same-sex couples as well as gay and lesbian individuals in not only financial matters but legal issues.

He advises his clients on laws regarding civil unions, same sex marriages and how these can impact upon a client’s finances. In addition, he advises gay and lesbian individuals and same-sex couples on the utilization of Living Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney and other legal documents in order to protect their interests in the event of an unforeseen occurrence.
