Robert A. Bernstein
Robert A. Bernstein, Esq., has been practicing law for over 35 years and was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 1969 and thereafter to the Bar of the State of New York in 1983.
Mr. Bernstein focuses his practice in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Special Needs Planning, Guardianship, LGBT Estate Planning, Business and Real Estate Law.
Mr. Bernstein received his Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 1966 and was awarded his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Rutgers University School of Law in 1969.
Mr. Bernstein is a former Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey where he represented the Division of Taxation.
He is a frequent lecturer and has given presentations before such diverse groups as the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Morris County Caregivers Coalition, New Jersey Society of CPAs - Essex County Chapter, Smith Barney, and Sanofi Aventis Pharmaceuticals.
He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United Court for the District of New Jersey, and the New Jersey Supreme Court.
He was the former host and moderator of the Comcast Cable television program entitled “Thirty Legal Minutes”.
Mr. Bernstein is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and a member of the Elder Law and Disability Section and Trusts and Estate Section of the New Jersey State bar Association.
He has acted as host and producer of a cable television program entitled “30 Legal Minutes” which was also broadcast on Comcast Network and Communities Cable.
He is also a former legal columnist of a national magazine “Small Business Opportunities”. His name is also cited in two landmark legal decisions which have been published in the New Jersey law books.

Robert J. Murray is the Principal Attorney of The Murray Firm, LLC and is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California. Robert dedicates his practice on protecting the rights of seniors, veterans, special needs individuals and their families. As a VA Accredited Attorney, Robert works closely with veterans and their families to help them access both healthcare and pension benefits. Robert is a compassionate advocate and planner for individuals and families facing challenges arising from aging and disabilities.
Robert is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the New Jersey State Bar Association - Elder and Disability Law Section, the Morris County Bar Association, and Elder Counsel.
Robert earned his undergraduate degree from the Carrol School of Management at Boston College with a major in Accounting and his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA.
Outside of his practice, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife, Amanda, and sons, Bobby, Connor and Luke, coaching and playing tennis, and cheering for his hometown New Orleans Saints.
